I'm going to shorten the analysis just a bit:

As a coach, dude sucked. The end.

IMHO, Nice read from a non-sports person. Spot on...

ABOUT THE AUTHOR
A psychiatrist in private practice, a former clinical professor of psychiatry (UAB School of Medicine), and a noted forensic profiler. Experts including FBI agents believe his unique Thoughtprint Decoding method will one day become a fixture in law enforcement much as identifying fingerprints. He has been interviewed extensively in the media with appearances on Fox News, CNN, ABC, CBC, MSNBC and Court TV.
with appearances on
Fox News’ “Hannity,”
“Geraldo at Large,”
CNN’s “Anderson Cooper 360,”
ABC’s “The View,”
Primetime CNN (Nancy Grace),
and Court TV.

That thing was hard to follow. You really have to speak the author's language and understand the concepts he puts forward to get anything from it. As it is written without a primer on the concepts he uses in his "evaluation", it isn't worth much IMO.

I thought it was interesting, but it really didn't do much but validate was I feel like was common thought anyway.

It's premise is simple: Success often goes to someone's head and causes changes on a sub-conscious level that others pick up on and react to.

But its proof in its application to Chizik was lacking in specifics, examples, and explanation, making it just some fancy broad generalizations that the author believed applied to Chizik, primarily from his observations from afar.

It just was not a convincing piece IMO, though it is probably mostly correct about its broad generalizations about Chizik and success.

I felt like the author tried to make Chizik fit into the author's theory. It was written after the fact so it loses a lot of validity with me.

I mean I could come up with a theory that bad white jackets causes players to quit during the 3rd quarter. As long as I apply a theory after the fact I can make up anything.

Now if this article was posted the day before the season started and said Chizik will fail big time and this is why......... I would be impressed.
