Was it wise for Ole Miss to give Hugh Freeze a raise so soon?

Thoughts? I mean he isn't getting paid that much anyway, but still. Oh well as long as it's not a huge pay jump that would leave us with a humongous buyout if he sucks... aka nuttbag.

Y'all have a top-notch AD. If he thinks the raise was appropriate, I'd support that. Ross Bjork knows what he's doing.

Yes. Winning six games with that team was a masterful coaching performance.
You'll have to continue giving him raises to keep him from leaving for a school that black people aren't afraid to commit to.

It was a proactive move to reward a great coaching performance. Very few people think it's stupid and they're dead wrong.

yes, Freeze is one of the premier coaches in the SEC.
I truly believe that. I'd take him in Knoxville over anyone not named Saban or Spurrier.

I think it's desparate. You shouldn't be giving raises to 6-6 coaches. IF he gets Ole Miss to a bowl next year and has a winning record, then I would've said yes, he's earned it to correct that dumpster fire from Nutt.

if I was ole miss I would do all I could to keep freeze locked up as long as possible. I was truly impressed with his coaching ability this year. They were fundamentally sound, played hard,and the players seem to love him.solid coach.
