No kidding. Seriously, I would think that if you are a doctoral candidate you would have studied at other academic instititutions as well. Isnt that normal? Not saying All Alabama isnt, but for a terminal degree, I would think the academic thought leaders might be more diverse.

I got accepted to Georgia Tech and MIT for grad school, but we had a new professor that had just come from MIT and promised me all the connections he had. So far it's working out pretty well.

Plus it's hard to pass up $5.00 football tickets and I've got enough credit hours to get any away and post season games.

ETA: And my gf, soon to be fiance...
