I grew up in Houston as the son of an LSU father who lived in Tiger Stadium, so I'm well aware. I said it was a distict advantage of A&M's in that College Station is only an hour away. My post had nothing to do with LSU, which has a TON of grads in Houston and in the O&G industry, because the existence of LSU isn't germane to my point that A&M can target suites harder than many other universities thanks to its ties to an industry primarily situated only an hour south in which its graduates are over-represented compared to the rest of the population. I'm not dissing LSU or implying that LSU doesn't have ties to the O&G industry that it can count on to buy suites, it definitely does, I'm posting about A&M.
