If we are not a national brand, then why did 60 Minutes just run a fluff piece on Bama calling it the program everyone is trying to emulate?....Michigan, a so called national brand, came off as looking 2nd tier in that piece.

I agree ND is more of a national brand than Bama and kids in Brooklyn or LA or not gong to start sporting Bama gear no matter how many titles we win...but Bama is known worldwide to the extent people give a shite about college football....Bama is as well known as Michigan, USC, tOSU, Penn State.....Bama put southern football on the map and the powerhouse that the SEC today is in good part due to what Bama accomplished on the national stage in the 20s, 30s, 40s, and the Bryant era....if you can't see that, then I can't help you.
