I have little nieces and nephews to buy for - the boys are 4 and 5, and the girls are almost 2 and almost 3. Since I don't have kids myself, I'm not sure what do to for them.
When I was 5 I wanted Transformers or G.I. Joe. But that was over 20 years ago, sooooooo.....
I have no idea what a 5 year old boy today would want. Definitely no idea what a little girl would want.

I got my cousin's 2 year old a couple years ago a Build a Bear gift card. He still has the bear and his Mom was thankful for something they could go do together.
He was raised right and got a bear with a Kentucky BB jersey and named him Knight.
I also like to get kids like that age appropriate books/book sets. They usually have toys and clothes out of the arse and they're better for it down the road IMO.

CT incident enrages me! I'm a father and I can't imagine. I can't wrap my mind around it.
I don't understand how the craziest person in the world could convince him/herself that the only course of action for this particular morning would be to go on a rampage in an elementary school.
The older brother is in custody. What do you think his reasoning will be to explain his younger bother's actions?
On top of that...it's Christmas. This was probably their last day of school before X-Mas break. It makes me want to hug and tell my child "I love you" nonstop and keep a constant vigil over her while she sleeps....because I'm the only protection she can count on in her life.
