he shouldn't have gotten a game suspension, but since there is no way to "fine" players in college, I think Saban should bench him a quarter or something like that, but I don't think he will.


I thought it was funny that the tweet said Ala and UGA would handle any action internally. WTF is UGA going to do?

I don't think anyone legitimately thought this would happen. Not anyone except the butthurt legions of the vanquished anyway. Glad the SEC made the right call here.

The issue never was could Murray be blocked/hit on that play; it was whether the hit was helmet to helmet. My assessment: Dial led with his shoulder but their helmets definitely collided. It would have never happened if Murray had stayed in the pocket. When a QB wanders out of the pocket following an INT then he is fair game.
