However one of your points, which you still haven't admitted fault in, was that Gurley racked up all his numbers against weak competition. When in fact he put up better numbers against better competition than weak.

A better comparison is Julio or AJ, but to include Alshon? Color yourself retarded and step away from the keyboard.
Don't let what they're doing in the NFL skew your perception of reality. The FACT is Alshon Jeffery is the SEC's second leading receiver all-time. If you can't see that he is one of the best receivers in SEC history and doesn't even belong in the same conversation as Julio and AJ then YOU'RE the retarded one.

This thread has covered:
-who would you take for their career after seeing their freshman year
-which one had the better freshman year
-which one is better
-which one is healthier
-which one is more of an "every down back"
-insert random other backs not in the OP
-who did it against what kind of competition
-who had the better OL, QB, and WRs
-was alshon a viable receiving threat or not?
-is alshon jeffrey comparable to AJ Green and julio jones
I think it's time to let this thread fizzle out

But I agree, there is no progress being made in this thread. FWIW, I never argued Alshon>>>Green I just posted stats for those thinking its comical to compare him to those guys and dismiss him as some scrub.
Gamecocks- pick Latti (and Jeffery)
Bulldogs- pick Gurley (and Green)

Jeffery was good, but he's not the same caliber athlete as Julio or AJ.

THERE'S NO FAULT TO ADMIT. The SINGULAR argument for Gurley's Freshman season (statistically) is a higher average per carry. I said he racked it up against weaker competition...HE DID
8 Carries 100 yards, Buffalo
10 Carries 111 yards, Florida ATLANTIC
11 Carries 116 yards, Auburn
Those are great stats against crappy teams, he's a good RB. However, you can't equally compare what Gurley did against FL or TN with what Lattimore did against them his Freshman year.
The question has been answered, the majority of people who "voted" on here said Lattimore.
LATTIMORE

Someone said latt was the whole entire offense in 2010, and teams stacked the box all game because yall didn't really have anyone else. I pointed out jeffrey had 1,500 receiving yards that year. Point was overlooked.

Ah okay. Well even with his great year, we still only finished 44th in passing. Everyone knows we haven't been a great passing team in a long time. But yeah I wouldn't go so far as to say all we had was Latti.

And he put up better stats against BETTER competition. What part about that are you not getting?

Not the point I was arguing. shite I'll admit Lattimore was a better back as a freshman but I will also say that Gurley will have a better career simply because he probably won't break both of his knees.

A lot can happen between now and 7 games into the season next year. What happened to Lattimore were two freak injuries that could've happened to anyone. Not because he has weak knees or something.

Was a Bama fan and didn't even include Yeldon.
