Also, keep this in mind. Oklahoma lost to USC 55-19 in 2004, Ohio State lost to Florida 41-14 in 2006 and Florida lost to Nebraska 62-24 in '95. Oklahoma and Ohio State finished the season third in the polls while Florida finished second. Those three games were three of the most vicious beatings you'll ever see on a football field and none of the teams that lost dropped lower than third in the polls. There's no way Notre Dame drops out of the top 5 no matter how badly they lose.
