No, Ole Miss won't be ranked in the Top 5 for the first few weeks of the season, that's the OP's point.

We went to the Cotton bowl and finished in the top 25. Being 2009 Ole Miss would be a 2-3 win improvement on this year.

2009 was a disappointment only because we were expected to compete with Bama for the division. We didn't, but we still beat Vandy, Arkansas, Tennessee, LSU, and Okie State in the Cotton Bowl.
