Nothing they could do though, the money is gone. I read an article somewhere with the average reserves for an SEC football program. And I don't remember specifics but even Vandy had 10 mill. But Ut had like 3mill. Its not like you can offer a coach stock options on the back end. And only 5% believe in themselves enough to take a deal like that anyway. Sorry even in 5 years, they is fawked.

The key to Jones' failure will be our success. Keep beating Tennessee and he'll be gone too, in short order.
Let's look at it this way. He has to beat, every year, Bama and Saban, Richt and Georgia, South Carolina and Spurrier and whatshisname down at Florida.
That's a damn tough row to hoe right there. And Tennessee fans will not be happy with 7-5 or 8-4 seasons, not ever.
So Jones is behind the eight ball right out of the chute. It's going to be very very tough for him to bring them back anytime soon.
Conversely, there is another angle to all of this and that is that UT fans are making a big deal out of so many of their current players having been recruited by Jones at Cincy - and how so many of their current players listed Cincy in their final Top Five. UT fans seem to think that is a good thing. Whereas, from an SEC outsider looking in at UT's program, we're more inclined to say, "No wonder UT's program is failing - hell, they've got a bunch of Cincy level athletes on that team, rather than SEC level athletes."
