He does have a desk they allow him to use when needed. However, that does not mean he actually uses it. matter of fact he is never there. I have a friend who works for Pat, PD really comes around the AD only during the season and thats about it

The fact they let him anywhere near the AD after being caught red handed cheating tells me all I need to know about that program.

How about this?...or do you want pictures?

"Dye has been a permanent figure in the football program since Chizik was hired. Often occupying office space in the complex as a "consultant" to the coaching staff.

I find it more than coincidental that within 18 mos. of AU welcoming Dye back into the AU fold, that the NCAA is sniffing around the Plains again."

I keep it just to piss you off. Had your stupid barner friend on the fark board not been a smart arse, my avatar would be Bane instead of a Bane-Harvey Updyke hybrid.

I am indifferent toward Harvey Updyke. I don't love him, I don't hate him. What he did didn't hurt or help me. If it makes you feel better I think he's a lunatic.

Dude I worked around the AD department when I was in school during Tubs/Chiz(first year) eras. Never saw Pat Dye anywhere near the complex much less, saw a desk unless its underground.

That guy is very old man, I still cant believe some people on here really believe this guy heads everything in Auburn.

He doesn't represent me. I can't speak for the rest of the fan base but I'm sure there are others who feel the same way.

Like I said, "desk they allow him to use when needed" doesnt mean its his desk. its an area he is allowed to use when he wants. it not his personal space decorated and outfited for him. Also said, "matter of fact he is never there"

He is only really around the AD in general during the season, but that does not mean he is at "his desk", that just means around the program in general. Just like any of the former players etc. only come around during the season

Who would believe a word that that old codger says in regards to having "no say," even when he is still a paid staff member. It's just odd, secretive, and cultish.
