Pretty ingenious ploy cooked up by Saban and Smart. Tell Auburn you won't accept without full NCAA disclosure, Auburn provides said disclosure, Smart then turns them down and uses NCAA info from Auburn against them on the recruiting trail.

Smart asking for full disclosure on the NCAA stuff is a catch 22, but the Petrino call is just bizarre.

Exactly what I was thinking. Much like the scene from Wall St. "I just want to see from the inside if the books are cooked, looks as good as on paper, we're in the kill zone pal."
