That was the year Ohio State and Michigan ran the table until their matchup at the end of November. Ohio State finished #1, Michigan finished #3. As per BCS rules, any team in the Top 3 goes to a BCS game. Only two teams from the same conference can go. Sucks but those are the rules.

That's right - I forgot about that. That was a logjam up there. Amazing to think the Big 10 used to be good.
