I'm already pizzed at the lack of perimeter defense!! Tied at 9 early. SEMO has made 3-3s.

We are sucking it up early. We have NO defense!!

Thank God for Lawrence Bowers. This is ugly.

Does anyone else even care about this game, or am I wasting my time updating?

I seriously hope Haith tears them a new one. This is awful. No energy except fro Keion Bell, and no defense. They look terrible.

I'm glad I have to study and don't have to watch us lose to SEMO.

Break!!! At least I'm not alone! I was wondering if no one else saw this thread!

There's another half, but we're going to have to play like we want it or SEMO is going to walk out with the win. They look very good.

Holy shite. I just got home from work and turned on the game with 2 left in the half.

I am concerned but not worried. I expect something like last year in which superior talent takes over, but I am not expecting a huge margin. At this point I only care about winning, so as long as that happens I will live with the outcome.

SEMO is a good team. I went to school there, actually, and grew up in Cape. They had great teams before they went D1, then they struggled for a few years. But This is Nutt's 2nd year, I think, and he's a good coach. Don't be surprised if they win their conference and get to the Tournament this year.

Tyler Stone is a solid player.

Maybe we'll wear them down with our depth....

Is Stephan Jankovich hurt? He hasn't played tonight....

That's really weird. He'd been playing well early. Huh.

I think Haith is shortening his bench as the season progresses (which I favor). Jank's defense has been atrocious.

He does need to work on that, for sure. But then the entire team does if tonight is any indication. Flip is getting pressure, Bell as well. But our perimeter D is terrible.

That zone is ridiculous. Their switching on the screens is bad, too.

But still good signs here and there. Lots of gellin going on. Bell is finding his role, sometimes by effort, sometimes by luck. Bowers is a man.

Yes, Bowers and Pressey are playing well tonight. But you're right, that zone isn't good, and they seem clumsy on defense, and a bit slow.

Can't wait to see what happens when Brown is added to the mix. RIght now, I'm really worried about what happens if Flip gets into foul trouble, or gets hurt/sick.

No kidding. i'm glad they got tested like this. They need to know they can't overlook anyone. Ever.

And I will not be surprised if SEMO wins their conference this year.
