How funny is that shite?......

Pre-season #1 ranked USC ending up in El Paso playing lowly Georgia Tech.

Not sure why, but I'm actually pretty intrigued by this match-up though.

Christopher/Rules/Jacket77, Care to break this one down for us?........

Hoping that Barkley's trend of 9 INTs in the past three games continues. PAC-12 defenses are historically pisspoor, so there's a chance we could go back and forth on this one. USCw's offense - rushing and passing - will most likely carve up our D like a Christmas goose. Still, looking forward to playing USC and enjoying the sideline eye candy

Both coaches talked about their excitement to be in this game and Kiffin began his comments with an apology for a Tweet one of his players made about El Paso after the game was announced.

Tony Burnett, a 22-year-old former walk-on player from Watts, Calif., in Twitter messages said that no one wants to be in El Paso on New Year's Eve and
quote:

"if you never seen a real life giant tumbleweed get ready."

Kiffin said Burnett, because of class, had missed a team meeting in which the positives of the Sun Bowl were presented to players.

On whether or not Kiffin has ever faced Georgia Tech's Paul Johnson: “No, I have not."

Kiffin went on to say he and the Trojans were "excited" or the bowl announcement was "exciting" at least five more times in a conference call lasting less than 10 minutes.
