Bill King said that on the radio this morning. I almost wrecked but basically he's right. Stanford is a very good team that plays our style of football. Stanford almost beat ND getting a TD no call that might have won the game. But they don't have our passing game and their OL is not even in the same category as ours. Stanford's OL is made up of 4 3*'s and a 2* center. I know, I know, star ranking is not everything. But on average its a pretty good indicator unless you think they are better at developing players than CNS. I don't. They only have 1 4* on the DL. So, Bill King was right. We play the same schemes as Stanford but we have a whole lot better athletes. And they had to beat them in OT with a quick whistle stopping a obvious goal line TD.

Well by your genius logic of using results of other games to make predictions South Carolina would beat bama by 24 points and I think we all know ND would stay within 24 of South Carolina so clearly ND is the favorite here.

We didn't play USCe, UGA did. ND's play against a very similar opponent, but a step or 2 down from us is very revealing to anyone that wants to see it. Not to mention their game against Pitt. Bama blew away every team that wasn't in the top 10. ND had serious problems with several teams outside the top 10. Look at Michigan. They are at the level with KY imo. Game over by the end of the first Qtr for us but ND had to play a full game with them.
