He's from Gainesville and got a great opportunity to get his first head coaching job at Florida. Bridges were burned when he left Texas and I doubt he would do the gladhanding, booster codding, Longhorn Network appearing BS needed to be the Texas HC. Coaches at Florida like working for Foley.
