In our game, I felt our defense would contain Clemson's offense, but that they'd still score points.
I was concerned about our own offense being effective enough to score more than CU would: CU's own defense is terrible, but our offense has struggled as well, and with it being on their home field and with back-ups at QB and RB, I was afraid we'd make their defense look better than it was, and despite keeping their scoring down from what they were used to, it'd still be more than our scoring....
I was worried for nothing: our defense pretty much shut them down after the 1st quarter while our own offense moved the ball and controlled the clock. LSU's defense is slightly ahead of USC's in most categories, and while the passing O is poor, the rush O is stronger than ours and IMO CU will again get beat down as the game wears on.
CU's own style of offense gets off the field quickly regardless whether it produces a lot of points or not, and it's defense will be prone to wear down late in the 2nd and 4th qtrs. Add to that a physical OL like either USC's or LSU's, and IMO LSU pulls away in this game.....
