Who cares which insignificant bowl game you go to? You got a good matchup against Clemson and that's what is important

Wasn't the Peach Bowl higher in the pecking order of SEC bowl tie-ins back then? I know they are five now, but I am pretty certain they were higher years ago. Didn't UT lose in the SECCG and go to the Peach as well?

It doesn't really make sense why we got the worst bowl of the three...but if its not a BCS game the "difference" between the bowls doesn't really mean enough to warrant outrage

Shitty Auburn and shitty UVA (and I'm a UVA grad) played in that game last year. Obviously every year is different, but it is such a crappy destination for a team that finished ahead of A&M and SCe in the SEC pecking order.

2005: LSU gets run out of the Dome by a perceived lesser opponent.
2012: UGA goes toe to toe for 4 quarters against a team many people thought could stand up against an NFL team earlier in the year, and is 5 yds away from a win.

So basically you're saying that because LSU got hosed in 2005, UGA should get hosed in 2012. That's sound logic.
FTR, LSU should be in a better bowl. Frankly it doesn't matter very much.
