Vandy belongs in the Gator Bowl. SEC needs to redo its tieins.

Both State and Vandy are 8-4
Vandy had an horrible start to the season, State went 7-0 against equal talent
Vandy finished strong against lesser opponents, State finished in a slump against the SEC champion, aTm, LSU(all top 10) and OM.

Every bowl committee knows they will eat their profit if Vandy comes. The best scenario has Vandy going to MCB for all involved. State will go to Gator because they know we travel and will buy out all our tickets and half the oppositions (happened against Michigan). We also own the Gator Bowl scoring record.

In the end Vandy's inability to fill its own stadium for rival games like Tennessee speaks of its fan support. State has had 23 straight sell outs at Davis Wade. We sold all our tickets plus half of Wake Forest's last year. And for the exception of the one very cute and charming Deacon chick that was in front of us our womenz will look better on national TV. We make bowl games money. In the end that is what matters. OM really isn't even in the discussion for anything above Compass. MCB chair was performing what is called lip service. Sure, OM will bring fans to Nashvegas, but in the end the ticket and the TV will post the schools records and 6-6 just doesn't look as good as 8-4 on a ticket stub.

What it comes down to is nobody really has a fricking clue. This year is the most fricked up I've ever seen the bowl selections.

All four Vandy losses were to Top 25 teams (3 top 10 teams). Try again.
