With the way Murray was playing, I'd say there was a very good chance they would have scored.

Gave me nightmares last night. What a game.

Georgia would have won.

But this ole world keeps spinnin' round anyhow.

If Murray comes back next year, I'm honestly kind of worried how this game might haunt him. He actually played pretty well but just fell short.

If he returns, our offense might be one of the best in the country. Defense is going to take some major blows.

2 or possibly 3 throws into the end zone... who knows?? A TD was certainly no sure thing at all.

Murray looked better on shorter passes than he did on deep routes. Underthrew several deeper routes badly. The one before halftime (same play he got cold cocked) he had a guy wide open deep for 6 and underthrew by 5 yards.

What if the receiver drops the ball instead of catching it?

What if PI is called instead of a phantom tipped ball negating the call?

What if Alabama doesn't try a fake punt?

Lot of what if's.

I think spiking it only would have helped UGA because they could have gotten at least 2 maybe 3 chances into the endzone. I think unless sacked, with that many tries they get it. I liked the no spike though, Bama didn't have the right personel on the field. They came up big and made the play though, and won it. Very great game.

Bama didn't win, Georgia just ran out of time.

2nd down, UGA at the 8 with 14 seconds or so????

UGA wins

but you can go thru every game and point out one thing that "could" change shite

Had they spiked the ball they would have given Saban and Smart time to set up the defense better. I assume Richt thought his best shot was to go for the play while he had Bama in their heels and disoriented.

Luckily the Bama DL got a hand on the ball and kept it short of the endzone and there was a UGA player that caught it instead of it falling incomplete and stopping the clock.

He should have spiked it and the receiver should have dropped it to stop the clock for one last play.

UGA played hard but Bama was the better team objectively. Two special teams plays, fake punt and blocked FG along with Saban's poor clock management to close the half kept UGA in it.

350+ yards vs slightly above 100 in rushing tells you what team was dictating things.

Great game,
