Are Florida fans excited about possibly facing Louisville or Kent State?

With a Kent State win and a UCLA loss, UCLA who was 16 in the BCS will fall, and Kent State will slip into the auto-bid 16 spot. So this means, Oregon is top 4 and automatically in. They will face the Big 12 Champion. It will be up to whichever bowl gets first selection to pick Louisville. Not sure if it is Sugar or Orange that gets to pick first this year, but either way it will be a terrible match-up. Kind of reminds me of 2009 when Florida faced might Cincinnati who really thought they stood a chance.

Doesn't remind me of this at all. UF had to fight to the finish with Bowling Green and ULL this year. UF is obviously a really good team, but I would not count on them blowing the doors off of either of these teams.

I'm sure they are just beside themselves with excitement.

We play to the level of our opponent, so who knows how the game will turn out.
I'm excited we're in a BCS game, but I'm not excited about the opponent. I wonder how many people will go to New Orleans. These 2 would usually be the "rent-a-win" portion of our schedule.

No. Florida will likely be #3. Only the HIGHEST ranked non-auto qualifier is guaranteed a spot, assuming they are in the top 4. This is why LSU was not guaranteed a spot in '06, even though we were ranked #4. Michigan was #3 and thus was the only non-auto qualifier guaranteed an at-large selection.

And would likely go to the BCS bowl with the last selection, which I believe is the Orange.

The Gators will almost certainly play Oklahoma in the Sugar Bowl.

There is no chance Florida plays Kent State. The only BCS Bowl Kent State will play in is the Orange Bowl vs the ACC Champion.

Also, Oklahoma has been talking to Fiesta Bowl officials. If they win, they want the Fiesta Bowl to pass on the automatic bid they have and allow them to play in the Sugar (Which sets up a UF-UO Fiesta Bowl).
