Really Dr. Pepper? How about giving credit when it is due?

Evidence doesn't support that so far.

He has a better record than Melvin Watkins so far...but not by much.

It is really hard to judge Kennedy so far ... how do you judge last year when he was diagnosed with a debilitating illness and missed the first month of practice with the team?

Besides that the stars just aligned against us:
-Our best big was injured all year (Roberson)
-Our best scorer was out half the year (Middleton)
-Our backup true freshman PG transferred out in December
-Our only remaining PG was injured often

I mean no one, not even the Great Billy Clyde Gillispie would have succeeded last year.

What he HAS achieved is:
-signing 2 national top 100 guards last year who are playing very well (Reese, Caruso)
-Getting a top 20 SF top 100 national player from 2011 to transfer from FSU
-Signing one of the top JUCO PG in the nation last year
-Pulling in Trocha who had offers from Kentuck, Arizona, Georgetown and UCLA, all of whom are bigger basketball names than A&M

Has it translated to on court success? No but we really have a total of 2 starters who played at all last year.

I don't think that you can really make an argument one way or another on how good of an on court coach BK is but you can definitely make an argument that his staff can recruit.

I don't think your information is accurate. Everyone seems fairly certain that he will make it to campus.

The only question was could he reclassify to 2012 (he is 2013). He has met all requirements for graduation but because of the language barrier is having difficulty on the SAT/ACT which will prevent him from reclassifying. By all accounts he is very smart just doesn't grasp the english language well right now.

The only question on Trocha is if he will be eligible to join the team in January.

My understanding is that they are not targeting him joining the team this season because he is having issues with his testing. I could have misunderstood that though.

You really can't. At this level you have to have time to practice with the team no matter what the sport.

We saw what happened with Arkansas after Petrino got canned; John L. had no chance as he had no time to be with the team before the season started.

so sick of the Kennedy hate when nobody could have done jack shite with the in season injuries injuries and lack of depth Turge left us.

Dash Harris as your starting PG is not going to win you games even when he is healthy.
