No it's not.
The Big 12 doesn't have a conference title game. OKST only played 12 games before their bowl game last season. Bama will have played 13 this season. OKST had 11 wins last season, if Bama wins they will have 12 this season.

The only resemblance is the record.. Florida had a much tougher schedule than alabama but managed to struggle against almost everyone they beat, including directional schools.
Alabama, on the other hand, never had a close game besides the LSU loss.
It's actually a really bad comparison.
