The fact is that not one Auburn fan can say FOR CERTAIN that another coach would have won a National Championship in 2010. However, they CAN say FOR CERTAIN that Chizik won a National Championship in 2010.
Thus, there should be no buyer's remorse for Auburn fans.
Besides, it's not like he is leaving the cupboard bare. Whoever becomes the next coach of Auburn will have a lot of talent to work with.

Up until this season I gave Chizik a lot of credit especially considering the circus he dealt w from UGA week on
But after this year it's clear that the Gus bus offense was what deserves the credit

Not a crack on Chizick as every coach is successful in some part due to his talent level but without Cam that was a 7-5 or 8-4 team. Same with aTm this yr although I believe Sumlin to be a great coach but without JM I don't think aTm is a two loss team.
