Don't know how the 2013 rankings will start out, but this is how I predict they will finish.
West
1. A&M
2. Alabama
3. LSU
4. Ole Miss
5. Arkansas
6. State
7. Auburn

Practically every single mock that exists has Joeckel going top 10, I think he would be insane to come back. I'm not sure what Matthews will be, but seems like 1st round, he might gain money by coming back and taking over LT for Joeckel to prove himself in that spot.

It's good to see Belue on the returning players list. Dude is terrible.

i doubt a&m beats bama 2 years in a row. it looked to me like we had mostly figured you guys out pretty well by the second quarter. plus, you will be our first conference game, so im sure you will be getting lots of close attention in spring and fall camp.

you cant really differentiate between LSU, bama, and us. it will come down to the schedule which favors us and bama
So playing AT Tiger Stadium favors you? Get ready to be shocked, because LSU is going upset A&M in Tiger Stadium. Might be the only upset LSU has in the last 7 years.

Aggies value education more than the average coonass... Not to mention A&M is a much better school.

can you really be this stupid? look at our schedule and look at yours. like i said, if all 3 of our potential 1st rounders come back we are looking good because of our schedule. we get bama at home and we will have as good of a chance at beating them as anyone does. if we beat them, its very possible for us to be going into the LSU undefeated, because of our schedule.
now looking at LSU's schedule, you have to play AT bama and AT uga. so if we come into that game with no losses (if we have our 3 first rounders coming back and considering bama is the only big time opponent and we have them at home) and you guys come in with 2 losses, that game doesnt even matter
but once again this only depends on if all 3 of our potential 1st rounders come back...

All LSU has to do is beat A&M and they'll likely be ranked ahead of them in the SEC West by season's end, even if they lose to Bama.
May see the exact same scenario this year with LSU losing to Georgia instead of Florida.
Ultimately LSU and Bama will end up at the top as usual.

Let this be a reminder that it's better to let people think you are an idiot than to open your mouth (or in this case, post) and remove all doubt.

It all depends on these new coaches coming in. Sometimes they can have a big 1st year just by rejuvenating a program, see Sumlin. UT returns most of their starters and has the talent to win. They get a good coach, they're back in it. The same could happen with Arky & AU. The SEC will have adjusted to TAMU & they could be an 8-4 or 7-5 type team. Vandy is an upperclassmen dominated team & loses a lot of key players. OM should be better with so few Seniors, but we'll have to see how there 1st year coach does in his 2nd year. It will be a long time before we see UT, AU, & Ark ALL be down in the same year like they were this one. At least one, and maybe all three will step back up next year. Will be interesting to see who they hire.

I just love that "The SEC will have adjusted to TAMU" quote I read all season long.

"A&M won't compete"
"Fine, but, but we will adjust next season. The conference will figure out JFF"

Way premature prediction at this point. Ive looked at Lindys preseason magzine for 2012 and so many players had listed on three deep ALL SEC never were heard from due to suspensions, injuries etc etc
This much we do know: UF, UGA & USC are the top three in the east. UF's schedule gets a little easier in 2013, getting UT, Arkansas, Vandy at home with UGA at Jax, then @ UK, LSU, Mizzou & USC. One advantage is we have a month before anyone real difficult is played.

So I'm an idiot for thinking Bama is the 3rd best team in the West to start next season?
Lets all bow down to Bama then.

If they dont see everyone picking them no.1 each year, they get flustered..nothing new
