It wouldn't surprise me if they gave the Heisman to Manti Te'o of Notre Dame but JFF deserves it. There were probably several orgasms last night from members of the media when the Irish beat USC.

Sadly you might be right. Remember when Ron Powlus committed at ND many years ago to play QB. Announcers on NBC predicted he would win "multiple" Heismans? Some of the media is so in the tank for ND it is laughable at times.

Manti's numbers last night not very good. Officially he had 3 tackles (all solo) and 1 interception. Of course the interception was thrown straight into his chest. Still, 3 tackles and 1 interception is not newsworthy at all.

Guess since ND offense was so shitty this year the media hacks had to find a way to get an Irish on the Heisman ballot and turned to a defensive player with a great personal story. Seems like a good guy anyway.

JFF seems to have ESPN behind him so that's a huge positive. Ready to see the power of the SEC give him a push as well.

I think Manti-Teo or whatever it is from ND will get it only because they are unbeaten and he is the biggest name for ND. I totally disagree with that, but with JFF as a freshman and aTm having two losses, will hurt his chances, unfortunately. He is the one player you can never count out until he is completely down. I've seen his highlights over and over, and every time he surprises me! guys got grit.
