After seeing her tweets, it's hard to gauge whether she is a vindictive nutcase that didn't get her way, or he actually did sexually abuse her.

I'm not taking sides as I have no idea of course. Either way the university goes with this, they are walking into a PR minefield. We as fans are so snake bitten that it leaves one with the impression this can only happen at Mizzou.

Of course I could be wrong, but if I had to bet, I'd bet she's full of shite. Rape victims do not go pronouncing, almost bragging about it, on twitter. I know it's a private school but we had almost an identical situation at SLU a few years back and you never heard mum from the alleged victim.

If you use the SLU case as any sort of guideline, there were at least 3 players accused in the incident. One was a freshman and moved immediately. 2 of the better players on the team were initially kicked out of the school by the school board/student court, whatever you call it. After the appeal, they were expelled just for the semester and could come back after that if they met certain requirements. Classes, letters of apology etc...One player was a thug POS and didn't go to class so he was gone. The other quietly went about his business and is back with the team. Like this case, there wasn't shite to bring charges on but there was, at least, a police report. Anyone know if there was even a police report filed on the night of the alleged incident?

The other thing I'll say from that experience is that these student board hearings are bull shite. Those brought before it aren't allowed to bring forward all the evidence on their behalf. The alleged victim was allowed to have her family (dad was also a lawyer) and a personal lawyer present at the hearing. Those brought before it were not.

Bottom line, I wouldn't be surprised to see Dixon back but not until Brown comes back unless this public battle of words on twitter gains legs and forces some to take a stronger stance than they otherwise would.
