So I've seen/heard a lot of people wanting Dixon back and lots of #freeDixon going around. We don't know the facts though and by doing this our fanbase is dropping to a very low level. I hate to make this comparison, but if Dixon did rape this girl and the fans are supporting Dixon, this looks a little like the JoePa/Penn State situation. I think people need to be careful about what they are saying and wait for a verdict.
ETA: I say this is similar to Penn State in the way that fans/students rallied and supported JoePa completely disregarding the facts.

Honestly I don't think most people even know that rape is what he is being accused of. I didn't know til reading this thread last night and if I didn't read it (or TB) then I wouldn't of known probably.

But I agree, on this we might need to not throw support or lay blame immediately. Just let it play out. I just texted my boy at Mizzou. He had no clue about the sex assault, but thought it was about cheating on a test. I take it that this is what the public pretty much thinks the problem is. She is without a doubt holding up on my theory. She is going to try to win this with public opinion. She will try to get the outrage of the public to pressure decision makers into what she wants.
