Who ever stated what your record was against LSU jackass!! I said you will always be a mid-level SEC team as long as Richt is your coach. That has nothing to do with what your record is against Les Miles! You know it's true just like everyone else. Your team chokes in big games! It sucks but its the truth. Deal with it! The last 2 yrs you have dodged the 3 best teams in the SEC. Had you played LSU,BAMA,& A&M you would not only have 1 loss right now!

LSU, Bama and A&M dodged us!
Go Dawgs!!
Go Dawgs!!

Would not being able to cross mid field until the start of the second half qualify as choking in a big game?
If so, frick you, frick your mother, and then go frick your cousin/wife (IDK what you are calling her these days)

B-b-b-b-but, Les Miles is a .500 coach against THAT "mid-level" team.
But hey, I tip my hat to the corndogs and that awesome win over Auburn. Impressive! And...and...and... y'all just barely lost to Flarda. Of course, y'all just barely beat Ol Miss too.

Kinda like LSU vs Bama the last 2 times y'all played???
Gotta hand it to y'all, when you frickin' choke you do it on the big stage. CBS Saturday night at home with the whole world watching, or in the BCSNCG. Talking about epic chokes...
2007 is getting smaller in your rearview mirror every year.

Then why has Richt been so successful in his career? He's won the east 5 times (which averages out to just about every other year that he's coached), the SEC twice (could change in 2 weeks), been to 3 BCS bowls, finished in the top 10 over half the years he's coached (finshing in the top 3 twice so far), and has the following records against our biggest rivals, in order:
GT: 10-1
UF: 4-8
AU: 8-4
UT: 8-4
SC: 7-4
Not to mention he has one of the best career winning percentages of any coach in the country. You can say "he'll never win a national title at UGA", and that's fine. I can see why people think that. But to say he's "mid level" and we can't win big games is just mind bogglingly stupid.

The issues that most concern me regarding this game are:
1) Can Georgia's offensive line handle Hubbard, Mosley, and Williams?
Earlier this year, Georgia faced an excellent and excited South Carolina D-line that took over that game. However, Georgia's offensive line also faced Florida's D-line, which is more similar to Bama's and did not allow a sack. I am hopeful that the more recent result against Florida is indicative of the O-line that comes to Atlanta but concerned that a true freshman right tackle, Theus, and junior college left tackle, Beard, will face a Saban designed pressure/blitz system.
2) Will Georgia be able to stop the run without bringing additional help into the box?
If Georgia is forced to step Rambo/S. Williams down, the probability that a receiver breaks free becomes a major issue. However, I am certain that D.J. Fluker will have his lunch eaten by J. Jones or J. Jenkins during this game. He doesn't appear to have very quick feet, when facing an elite edge rusher.
3) Will Georgia make another special teams mistake?
Last year's SEC championship game turned on poor special teams play and coaching. This year Georgia has one of the poorest special teams units in the conference. Georgia cannot return punts, cannot hit extra points, cannot trust its punt return team (ask Ace Sanders), and does not flip the field with its punter. If Georgia loses this game, it would not surprise me that a special teams mistake caused the loss.
