A season in review of games that were lost down the stretch

aTm

Vandy

LSU

I was one of the few guys out there that believed that there was more talent on that team than people constantly claimed. Particularly on offense. Maybe it's not elite, but it was good enough for them to win 4 games or so as long as they tried which they never did last year. Obviously 5 games were won.

This team could have surprisngly won more if they were finishers. I was close to conceding this game tonight, but those 2 sacks on your final drive breathed life back in us.

So when does this team start finishing games?

It came down to depth. Johnson our best pass rusher played a handful of snaps

Freeze gets a pass this year. Next year is when expectations will truly be to win some close games.

We are young and have no depth. If we get the recruits we think we will get....then we will be set. Ole Miss will be a lot better and much more experience next year. The team this year is light years ahead of what they were last year. Nobody expected them to be playing for a bowl game this late in the year. We have to give Hugh Freeze some time. He will fix the mess that was created.
