Headline seen on evening news last night in Houston (KPRC channel 12, IIRC)

Congrats on the win Aggies.

But "stomped"? Seriously?
IMO you cant label any victory a stomping if the win is in jeopardy down to the last minute.

Alabama beat LSU by 4 in the last minute, yet the Tide's band proclaimed "we just beat the hell out of you" ?

Why is okay when Alabama does something like you described?

Agree but Bama never had the lead, I would say it was a convincing win... but no means a stomping.

I am not accepting "stomped"

But, even if there was a "stomping"...shouldn't the headline read:

Alabama STOMPED itself!

I thought it was all about what Bama does

We "stomped" Alabama about as bad as LSU "stomped" us. Neither really happened, and both were great games.

Not close to a stomping. Really the story is the AJ int that lost bama the game.

did bama fans sing "we just beat the hell out you" after their miraculous last second comeback after getting the pants beat off them by LSU?
