He said Saban and Alabama have gotten to the point where winning is just a sigh of relief and losing is the end of the world? I usually don't agree with one word out of his mouth, but this may have some merit to it. Thoughts?

Yes, Bama should just shut the program down now. Bama's shedule is nothing but cupcakes, including LSU, not worth the agony of another defeat...

Seriously, go win a fricking game that matters!

Yeah, I'm sure it's been awful for the gumps to have to watch their team churn out wins like a factory for the last few years.

Not in my opinion. I don't see that anything ended Saturday other than the hope for an undefeated season. I would argue that after a loss last year the team gathered itself (under Saban's direction) and continued to play football. I believe the same will happen this year. Depending on what some other teams do Bama may or may not get another shot at the BCSNC game

Just because someone burned the couch sitting on their porch doesn't mean Alderaan exploded.

WTF does Granny Holtz even mean by that comment? Didn't hear what he was talking about so can't offer an opinion.

"Coath Shaben shies weweaf when winnin but looshin ish jush to mushcshch"
Mark May then takes off his rancoat and kicks Holtz in the nutz.

No...I'm still really happy that we win a ton. I can't complain about a loss when we win a BCSCG every other year and are ranked in the top 5 just about every week.

The fact that you think something Lou Holtz said has merit to it makes me believe you are fricking retarded.

Lou is a ND and South Carolina homer because he coached there. He is the most biased talking head in the biz. I disregard everything that clown says.

I thought it was an interesting comment. Wasn't necessarily about our game, just in general. And I think he was definitely directing it more towards Saban than the fans, saying how he recognized something he went through before he retired. Probably has to do with how much pressure is on him to win. I know it would get to me if I were in his position. Except maybe not because I'd still be making $5 million a year

not a bama fan, but just when i thought i heard it all from lou, he said that saturday night. he acted like he thinks saban should retire, imo he (saban) is in the prime of his career, he might want to change some things, but calling it quits would be foolish.

Don't really understand what he's trying to insinuate. It's just the level Bama's at right now, the level they were at in the 60s and 70s.

The fans are insatiable, but that's sports. There are times that it feels like they're going through the motions; sometimes it takes a loss to remind you of how good you really have it.

He lost one game, and seems fine. LSU fans love talking about shite they have no clue about.

That might be the most retarded statement ever.

Of course bama fans enjoy winning, who wouldn't?
