He is another Andrew Whitworth. Overpraised but really pretty mediocre and benefitting from guys around him.

Lol. What?

You do know that Whit has been a starting NFL lineman for like 7 years now, right? And has played LT for the last five years or so. There aren't many of those.

I don't think Whitworth was ever been "pretty mediocre." Andrew Whitworth LSU bio

Barrett Jones likewise is not mediocre. If he had a bad game or series or whatever it doesn't detract from his overall career.

He got owned by Spencer Nealy at least once per possession. Nealy, who is nothing more than an above average interior linemen, had his best game of the year.

I'd heard great things about Jones but was not impressed. A&M got interior push all game long.
