I saw the "cadets/yell leaders", football players, and fans singing the alma mater but was wondering if they did a rendition of Rammer Jammer?
In case you didn't, for future reference Aggies, you should always sing, "Rammer Jammer" upon beating Alabama as done here after the 2010 Iron Bowl

Auburn has the only band with the balls to do it

No idea how to sing that song, and 99.99% of Aggies don't either.

This sparks an interesting question. Did the Aggies "beat the hell" out of Alabama?

Yet another LSU fan dreaming of a day they can do it.
and another thread that proves they so butt hurt from being Bamas' Bitch.

I couldn't sing Rammer Jammer (?) if you held a gun to my head and told me I had to do so. Moreover, I've never heard of it.

All I hear is Gary Glitter.

None of our fans know, or care, what the words to that song are.

Trashiest cheer ever

The chant was started as a taunt to Alabama troops retreating in the civil war:
flicker, flicker yellow hammer
run away, alabama
or
flicker, flicker yellow hammer
run and hide, alabama
take your choice

Texas A&M fans haven't had it sung to them so they wouldn't really understand why other teams do it back.

I was at the game and don't recall hearing it.
I bet some folks sing it after the Alabama-Auburn game.
I'll be sure to record it and post-a-link for a brother.

I know the words to RJYH, and honestly I think it's pretty fricking badass Just a part of what makes college football fun, imho.
That said, someone brought up a good point about Aggies never really having had it sung to us, therefore we really haven't needed to throw it back in Bama's face. Another observation: if Ags were ever to sing RJYH back to Bama, it would almost certainly be acapella, since the Aggie Band doesn't change their music selection.

I knew about Rammer Jammer. Was glad not to hear it. Heard nothing but kind words from the Bama fans, which was my experience in Oxford and Starkville, too. Guess everyone is being nice to the newbs. Not expecting it to last forever, but we'll give you all a nice welcome when you come to College Station.

I did here in Texas. Taught all my friends too. Gotta have that high football IQ

I still have a hard time thinking any adult would condone that song and bad sportmanship it is.
Kids look up to Bama football players, coaches etc. and when they sing Rammer Jammer after a win, it sends a horrible statement to kids regarding sportsmanship actually.

You'll be hearing it thanksgiving weekend. I'll put a little more oomph in it this time in case Cheezenik isn't around to hear it again.

What song will you be singing after this years game?

Did Auburn roll Toomer's Corner when Alabama lost? Seems pretty Auburn-like.
But hey, at least the trees are getting a much-needed break this year.
