When I said Oregon's passing game could expose Alabama's secondary. Just think if A&M (which has a similar offense to the ducks) could put up 30 points on Bama, Then imagine a team with MORE talent, and a much better defense could do to Bama. Honestly The ducks would win by 17 or so points and put up over 35. To bad we won't get to face them. Looks like Oregon K-State natty game.
here is the thread from way back earlier in the year where i got laughed at.

Oregon does not have a better defense than A&M

I watched California push Oregon's front 7 like they were on the approach of a ski jump last night.
LSU and Alabama would beat Oregon by 2 TD's.

ND, Oregon, and KState would not be undefeated if they played in the SEC.

If you gave LSU, UGA, Bama and maybe the aggies a month to prepare, they would beat Oregon. The Ducks have played a cream puff schedule that about 6 SEC teams would be undefeated with.

Is there any team out there that can stop Oregon's O?

Didn't LSU already prove this shite to you Ducks last year?

Before the interception in the 3rd Quarter, Cal was ready to tie the game. They gave up after that play.
Also, Mariota is one bad hit away from reinjuring that shoulder. When he came out in the 2nd quarter, the offense was COMPLETELY ineffective.

Why do you think Oregon is better than A&M is the question.
A&M could trash the field with Oregon.

That was last year! If we were going by last season games than Arkansas would have beat A&M and only have one loss.

The question to ask is what would oregon's record be with an SEC schedule?
Go away now.

Not so fast. That game would probably be more like the WVU/TCU game earlier this year. Ridiculous score and coming down to the wire.

Alabama vs Oregon would look a whole lot like LSU vs Oregon last year

Ok I will bump this thread once Oregon wins the natty. Everybody need to quit being biased for the SEC and recognize the power on the west coast.

A&M actually fields a top 15 scoring defense
A&M has Johnny Football.

Holy shite you people don't learn. We have more talent on both sides of the ball, a much better coach, also a RUNNING game. You my friend are delusional.
What exactly gives you this impression? Your defense is worse than ours, your offense has had the benefit of weak defenses every week, and with the kind of hits SEC defenses or even our offense dishes out, Oregon would have to put the third string on the field by halftime because there wouldn't be anyone left who could play. Do the ducks have a single receiver who can take the hits Swope and Evans did last night and walk away from them? Doubtful.
