Seriously, at a minimum Arky got bumped down, but damn if the West didn't get even more difficult where the East got another patsy.

aTm will excel in recruiting, Mizzou not so much......this will only create even more disparity as the years pass between West and East.

I'm sure in the 90s people wondered if the west would ever catch up to the east. These things go in cycles.

Time to move Bama and Auburn to the east.

Is that what you're proposing or did you just want to get that gripe off your chest?

Feel better now?

It's kinda like having Tulane in the west this year with Auburn

...I don't see it that way. What happens when you lose the 2 premier offensive guys in Wilson and Davis? Add in a new coach with growing pains and it's going to be years before you guys get anywhere near Petrino's success.

This would solve all rivalry issues which are of upmost importance and allow for 2 rotating interdivision games. The logical next step.

So having alabama, auburn, georgia, florida, SC, and tennessee in the same division is logical?

Gotcha.

What kind of responses were you looking for when your OP comes across as one more LSU fan whining about our how tough our schedule is?

I agree with the Georgia fan. These things are cyclical.

Just send us Mizzou and Vandy.

Seems like a fair trade to me.

Why not? Doesn't the UT/UA and UGA/AU rivalries trump all and the cause of the absurdity of having Mizzou in the East? A 6-1-1 instead of a 6-2?

I think next year will be slow with a new coach and system, but I expect we can still compete after that. You never know though, we have some good QBs coming along and many players will be back, almost all on D (many freshmen right now), most of the O-line, all but 1 receiver (big one yes), and the 2nd most productive RB. Davis has a couple hundred yards on the year and hasn't played much at all the past few games, no big loss there. Besides, the way his year is going he may have to return in order to salvage a spot in the league.

STFU aggy. 41-25 suggests no matter where we are you will be lower.

Who's had more success in the SEC? Prepare for that gap to shrink, fast.

A&M's recruiting is going to outpace just about everybody, not just us. That said, I think we'll be fine long-term recruiting, the move has already boosted it tremendously.

We have been to 3 title games, a BCS bowl, and numerous others.

Or are you basing your ill-conceived aggy logic on this season? If that's the case then you will need to prepare yourself for disappointment.
