Went ahead and grabbed 2 on stub hub this morning just in case. If texasss and A&M end up in Cotton Bowl these seats will be at a premium.

I would like to play either texass or OU. Either one would be great.

Sorry, sick of the Cotton Bowl - let's go play some teams with a pulse instead of the same old same old

Completely agree. I don't want to play either texas or ou, but I'm fairly confident we'd manhandle either one.

If this happens, aTm needs to house the shite out of Texas. That's the rule in the SEC, we win bowl games.

That's definitely what people are talking about when they say "big brother" in relation to football.
we actually have a winning record against them since the whole scholarship limitations were imposed. what fricked us for so long was that we were primarily a military school until like the 60s so whenever a war came around it would deplete us. just look at our records in the 40s, 50s, and in the late 60s/ early 70s. our worst periods in our history correlate with ww2, korea, and vietnam. plus you had tu giving a bunch of scholarships out that we couldnt compete with. once we stopped being pretty much a military school and when the scholarship limitations were put in place (i believe mid 70s right?) we took off. which is why the 80s and the 90s was the best era for our program and we also beat tu more times than not after that

Just to talk about SC in those predictions.

Schlabach has us in the Gator Bowl? Does he realize that is the 7th pick in the SEC hierarchy? Does he realize with our schedule even without Lattimore we should take care of Wofford and Arky to get to 9 wins and we sure as hell beat Clemson's arse without Lattimore twice. So either way to be the 7th pick? I don't think so

As for Edwards. Can we get a shot at the Sugar Bowl? Sure I think we can win out and finish 10-2, but I think there are too many SEC teams in front of us to get that #2 SEC spot.

It's certainly possible.

SC wins out
LSU loses
UF loses
Bama beats UGA

Blitzkrieg...But it is true. We win fricking bowl games. No matter who you play you better win. If you lose (even as a big underdog) you better not come on the Rant. You will be ostracized.

This is actually another difference between the Big 12 and SEC. In the Big 12 everyone roots against other B12 teams for the most part root against each other in bowls. I much prefer the SEC mentality.
