So who makes it to the Sugar Bowl?

I know a lot of Non-Bama SEC fans are looking forward to a capital one or cotton bowl game, and it seems like we've forgotten about the sugar bowl since an SEC team didn't play in it last year. Still, someone is bound to make it there. If Florida finishes the year undefeated, it will be them. However, if they lose to Florida State and LSU wins outs, LSU could definitely be there. Then if by some miracle, Georgia pulls it out in Atlanta, they'll go, but where does that leave Bama? Your thoughts?

A close loss by UGA in ATL may get them there with a UF loss.

If we win the SEC and go to the Sugar instead of the natty, Bama would be an at large elsewhere.

If UF wins out they go to the Sugar Bowl.

Bama needs to dominate UGA and FSU needs to beat the Gators for LSU to get in Sugar. Probably wouldn't hurt for USC to lose to Clemson.

The only time a CCG loser has gone to a BCS Bowl is when they were undefeated and ranked #1 going in.
Baring a UGA upset or something else very strange it's UF's to lose. If they get beat by FSU and LSU wins out then the Tigers will go.

Bama roundhouses UGA
LSU to the Sugar
FSU beats Florida

LSU to the Sugar

2. Bama beats UGA, FSU beats Florida, LSU goes
3. Bama beats UGA, FSU beats UF, LSU loses again, UGA goes
4. UGA beats Bama, Bama goes

Lot of rumors swirling in SC that if we win out and UF loses to FSU and UGA loses to Bama we will get some serious consideration. SC fans as a whole have been dying to get into a BCS game and the Sugar Bowl would love to get an eager fan base their to sell tickets. I know LSU is close and is probabaly our main competition, but you would think there would be a lot of disappointed Tigers that don't wanna see another New Orleans bowl game.

I seriously doubt USCe would get the nod over LSU. Just not nearly as much cache in that program and LSU fans do spend a lot of time/money in NOLA for bowl games.

Teams that could win out and still go to the Sugar:
UF, UGA, LSU, USCe, A&M
This week could eliminate a team or more off that list (most likely being A&M)

I guess State could win out too but they are less likely to beat LSU than A&M is to beat Bama
