They rushed:

First-4

Second-4

Third-5

Fourth-5

Fifth- 7

An average of 5 rushers per play.

Deosnt seem like the prevent to me.

Why did you start another thread on this?

Not that I care...I just enjoy answering a question with another question...

10 yard cushions seemed pretty preventive to me.

I would say that was prevent.

Why they did it?... no earthly idea.

The defensive backs were 15 yards or more off the line and began giving ground at the snap. Too many backup DBs in the game with limited game time playing as a unit. Really a bad recipe.

Chavis always does it. When the game is on the line he goes conservative and gives WRs a huge cushion. There's a reason UT fans are critical of him sometimes. Although I would sacrifice Dooley and Sal in a blood ritual if it meant we could have him back for 10 minutes

My opinion is they got demoralized after the missed FG gave good field position.

I am sure somebody has said this, but while watching the game I said before the missed FG Miles should punt and pin Bama deep. A FG changes nothing on the W-L.

Did Miles pull out too many gimmicks? onside kick after 2 straight 3 & outs? I think so. Bama got nothing after the failed onside kick. I get it. I'm just sayin...
