LSU isn't a better team than Alabama. A team playing better in a single game, especially one they lost at home, doesn't necessarily mean they're the better team. It just means they played better in a single game. And they still lost. LSU has lost 2 games this year; Alabama has lost none. Alabama is a better team than LSU, period.

Hmmmmmm where have I heard this?

Seems like that is a reversal of what most bama fans said last year after our FG win in November.

So what is it? Whatever validates your opinion?

Actually, they're quite different. Last year, Alabama and LSU both dominated every other opponent they faced during the regular season, AND Bama outplayed LSU during the game.

This year, Alabama has dominated every opponent except LSU, LSU has struggled against the likes of Auburn and Towson, lost to Florida, and then outplayed Bama during the game.

If you can't see the difference then you're even dumber than I previously thought (and that's saying something).

Not at all actually. Both teams were undefeated in that game and there was a rematch in which Alabama proved that they were in fact the better team.

LSU played their best game of the season while Alabama played their worst, and LSU still lost for the second time in a row, at night in their home state. Alabama is on track to win their 3rd championship since LSU last won one. Has now beaten LSU in 4 out of the last 6 matchups. Alabama > LSU.
