This season Manziel has been known to put up huge numbers against shitty teams but not fare so well against legit competition.

So, do we see Johnny fricking Football this weekend against State or Johnny Smoke and Mirrors?

Can you really define Florida and LSU's defenses as merely "legit"?

That's not only a vast understatement but also under-inclusive. What's one to make of the other 100 some-odd defenses that rank below LSU and Florida?

I think you mean JFF displays transcending talent against crappy defenses. But when facing the most elite defenses in the country, JFF, as a RS freshman 8 games into his career, has yet to put an entire game together that rises to the lofty standards he's set for himself.

A&M's offense is mediocre. Sure, Manziel is a really good QB, but look at their scoring against decent to good SEC teams (Auburn and Arkansas had quit when playing them).

17 vs FL. all in the 1st half
19 vs LSU. 12 in the first half, and 7 at the last minute.
23 vs Ole Miss. 7 was from a pick 6. They were shutout in the 2nd and 3rd. Ole Miss didn't have the depth to finish the game.

They average a whopping 20 points a game offensively against the 3 decent SEC teams. Manziel is good, but their offense is a one-trick pony. Once the defense figures it out, he pretty much has been shut down. In addition, their D is not good enough to hold a lead and win the game for them.

I predict Johnny fricking Football for a half, and Johnny Doesn't fricking Know Where He Is for a half.
