It's a 3 point advantage like every home field.
Would be 10-11 on a neutral site.
Would be 10-11 on a neutral site.

I would say that would be more correct if he said "average"...some teams, Death Valley is well more than 6 pt advantage, some teams a little less than 6, but DV is definitely an advantage.

Sagarin has it at about 16 without adjusting for home field. This week, Sagarin gives 3.02 as an average home field advantage, but Death Valley at night could definitely be worth 5 or 6. The line is settling in around 9.5 or 10 for now, so no big surprises so far.

The last team to win in DV was #1 Florida in 09.

You are wrong. Home field advantages are not equal.
Homefield advantage in college football is typically presumed to mean "about three points" (the average right now is actually closer to 3.8) difference in the final score. This means that if two teams are identical, neither team should be favored on a neutral field, while the home team would be favored by about three if they played at one of the team's stadium.
This can lead to essentially a six point swing from one venue to the next.
The truth is that some stadiums could actually mean up to nine points, while some do not help much at all.

And the tone clearly indicated what he meant.
Stop lawyering up the board.

Brando is one of my least favorite sports guys and definitely gets on my nerves, but I think he has this one about right.

4-14 points is not a blow out. Still more than 3.
