Your banged up OL has played above their heads the last couple of weeks in my opinion.

And I was always under the impression that y'all max protected to simplify things for Mett and avoid him making decisions under duress. I could be wrong though.

Beckham is a player. Sheppard has been notoriously under-utilized his entire career there, and Kadron Boone was committed to Texas Tech at one point - meaning they thought he fit the Air Raid system. Your skill guys aren't that bad...especially when you consider the stable of backs y'all have.

Could you quit doing that shimmy? It makes the women in College Station puke.

they played great against usc but we do run max protect almost every time. I think our max protect has more to do with when we dont do it mett gets hammered because our oline can't pass block. Some might be to simplify it for mett but in the end that is killing him because the d only has to cover two guys.

beckham has been downright terrible this year. he has dropped way too many balls and has made some horrible decisions on special teams. shep has been mismanaged by les miles his whole career. I do like boone and wright but both have had drop issues at points this year.

the backs would look even better if we could actually open up the o and force teams to respect the passing game. if we did that we would see more homerun runs early in the game.

we are really lacking a big time wr like rr or d bowe.
