I get that but Knoxville isn't in a central location either but our fans still come from the west side of the state for games. Although we usually play at Memphis every four or five years

The main reason why, boosters. Also Arkansas is located in the FAR north west corner so fans on the east side of the state do not get to come to a game since it's 5-6 hours away for them. LR game gives them only a 2-3 drive instead.
