I agree with the general consensus here that Miss St is going to follow to try to follow the formula that actually has been shown to work against Bama: run the ball to shorten the game, punt and defend and pick you moments wisely for passing and hope to hit some big plays. Then hope your secondary can come up with a key interception or two as you absolutely must win the turnover battle.
I don't trust Texas A&M to shorten the game and not try crazy shite like they did against LSU when they came out hurry up and pass happy with a freshman QB and a minute and change left in the first half from deep in their own territory instead of just taking the lead into the break. That kind of courage isn't usually awarded against defenses like LSU's or Alabama's.
However, I do also agree that catching Bama after LSU is a huge advantage over Miss St.
As far as A&M and Miss State playing each other, I'd pretty much guess that it's close enough that the edge would go to the home team.
