He could of retaken classes in florida as well. He could of also taken summer school classes in florida as well, both this summer and next BTW, but he didnt.

True, he could have. But...he could take/re-take more classes at Foley during the school year than at Washington. Also, making up classes in a computer-based setting during the summer following senior year (Washington High's plan for Paige) decreases the chances of making it through the NCAA clearinghouse. Tweets from John Infante, NCAA Bylaw expert, about the Paige transfer:

"So not only does this transfer appear to be on the up-and-up, but the explanation given is even commendable"
"If a kid needs to play catch-up with the eligibility requirements, you’d much rather he do it in a regular classroom"

quote:

Anyways the reason was because he couldnt take over 6 core classes in FL. it wasnt because of his GPA, it was because he could take more classes and not have to go to summer school

The ability to take additional classes is definitely part of the reason he transferred. The other part is that he needs to raise his GPA:

quote:

According to the documents, Faucheaux told investigators one of the reasons Pruitt wanted Paige to transfer to Foley was he believed the senior’s core GPA to be a 1.66

So you should probably just concede defeat on this one and next time be a little more informed before accusing someone of making stuff up.

So, the low GPA is "precisely"(or exactly) why? again it was because the number of classes offered, not the GPA. So saying that the sole reason for Pruit wanting him to transfer is because of GPA, is yes "made up". I guess you missed this part

one of the reasons
and this part, more importantly

Anyways the reason was because he couldnt take over 6 core classes in FL

And if was truly concerned about his GPA, he would tell him to quit football and study
