I finished the drawing and walked across the alley to hand it to the girls. It was a gift. They were impressed and stood up. One girl smiled, leaned toward me and kissed my cheek. She said something sexy in french, and then pointed to herself and said, "Annie." She pointed to her friend and said, "Anna". Anna smiled and I obliged back, but at that moment nothing in the world could take my mind off of Annie.
I introduced myself and they asked me a question in french. I didn't understand. Annie whispered something to Anna and Anna nodded her head in approval. Annie turned around like a whimsical girl and grabbed my hand. She pulled me in tow, hand-in-hand, as we walked away from St. Louis Cathedral...
