I can't belive the REC puts up with this BS. He wouldn't last 3 years at a decent SEC school. We're looking for a coach. I'd be willing to let him start over and try to do good at Arkansas.

I'm assuming that you mean winning records in the SEC because Ole Miss is 4-3 this season, but 1-2 in the conference.

Shoulda hired Merlins

How many teams have winning records in SEC play in each of the last 4 seasons?

Saban is 13-9 against teams that finished the ranked in the AP Top 25, 12-6 since 2008. He's handled good competition just fine.

It's usually only 3-4 teams per year. 2010 was the exception with five.

It's crazy how easy Alabama's schedule has been the last two years.

Of course it has. The only time we faced a legitimate schedule under Nick Saban was in 2010. You see what happened then.

LSU/Florida annual game is really interesting.
Was just watching sportscenter. Florida has reached the SEC Championship Game 10 times since its inception. They are 10-0 against Georgia in those years. Georgia has made the SEC Championship Game four times, and they are 1-3 vs. Florida in those seasons.
Makes it tough on LSU and Florida to have to play each other every season. They're the two most successful programs in the SEC since the turn of the century, yet they've never met in the title game. I guess they just knock each other out occasionally. This could finally be the year.
ETA: I thought Alabama was the best team in the country in 2010, despite the two losses, until the 2nd half of the Auburn game. Their schedule was just too tough.
Turns out they were the 2nd best team in the West (don't care about the standings), and probably still a top 3 or 4 team in the country.
It doesn't matter how good you are (unless maybe you are crazy good like LSU and Alabama were last year), if you play multiple tough opponents on the road, you probably aren't going to make it through your schedule unscathed. Alabama has been very fortunate with that from 2011 to 2013.

Trying to scoop you up on the waiver wire as a UDFA!
Where is BellaBamatard? Look how much Bama loves negative stats...

I guess more loser programs in the SEC need to play winning football.

Right, but only 1 program has had a winning SEC record in each of the last 4 years

And since the beginning of 2008 Alabama is 55-6 with 2 of those losses to the eventual BCS champ (Florida in 2008 and Auburn in 2010) with 2 BCS titles of their own. What's your point?
Shouldn't you be more concerned about the fact that Auburn has as many losses through 7 games of 2012 as Alabama has through the last 4 1/2 seasons?

Giving bama that mulligan last year was a real game changer. Hell, you could put "2 championships in 3 years" behind any record and make it look pretty dominant. That was a once in a generation opportunity for probably the most undeserving douchebag fanbase imaginable.

Why are we putting up with at such a mediocre coach. Saban needs to step it up.

That 2010 Alabama team is not even close to being as the 2011, 2012 Bama teams. That team had injury problems the whole year, the offensive line was mediocre (9 sacks given up against South Carolina), and the secondary was horrid at times making Jordan Jefferson and Stephen Garcia look like All-Americans and blowing a 24 point lead at halftime against Auburn because the Pass D was so porous. 2010 Alabama had a lot more issues than just playing a tough schedule.

This is the championship that keeps on giving and keeps on living thanks to LSU.
"Undeserving douchebag fanbase"?
Once more for the whiners, BCS = 1 vs 2. That's it. That happened. You got that arse kicked. Now it's 2012 and you still have a chance to make up for it so why not worry about now instead of then.
See you in 2 weeks. Good luck.
